Exhibition 2011

Last summer Mel featured in Ad Lucem, an exhibition showcasing final year Fine Art degree students.

"I am inspired by patterns of resonance suggested by the interconnectivity of atoms in natural life. Order from chaos. Complexity with simplicity. I create intricate pieces that challenge the viewers perspective. This creates visual feedback and vibration in order to suggest the complicated aspects of nature. It is human to want to understand this perfection. I wish to express this interest visually to engage the viewer in my work."

Mels work is on display at the Somerset College of Art and Design, from June 11th for two weeks.
